Once upon a time, in a cozy forest, lived a little bunny named Sweet Tooth and a tiny hedgehog named Prickle. They were the very best of friends.
One day, under a big oak tree, they found a huge, red apple. It was so bright and smelled so sweet!
"It's mine! I saw it first!" shouted Sweet Tooth.
"No, mine! I touched it first!" squeaked Prickle.
They argued and stomped their feet. They even pushed a little. The apple rolled away… and plopped into the river!
Sweet Tooth and Prickle were so sad. They sat on the riverbank and cried.
Then, whoosh! Wise Old Owl flew down.
"Don't cry, little ones," she said softly. "You can grow many apples. Inside every apple are seeds."
Sweet Tooth and Prickle found a tiny seed. They dug a little hole, tucked the seed inside, and watered it gently.
One day passed, then two, then a week. A tiny green sprout popped out of the ground!
The friends took care of it. They watered it and shielded it from the wind. The sprout grew and grew, and soon it became a little tree.
One morning, the tree was covered in white blossoms. Then—red apples!
Sweet Tooth and Prickle each picked one apple. One for him, one for her. They smiled and ate them together.
And on the tree, there were still many apples left—for all their forest friends.
Now, whenever anyone finds a single apple, they remember the little seed and say, "Let's plant it together!"
